SnapChat BLK Creators
During Black History Month, Snap Chat wanted to celebrate the black creators on their platform by hosting a sneaker design event in collaboration with Converse. The event took place in the afternoon at a low key distillery with catered food and tables filled with floral patches, colored shoe strings and other design elements. A DJ was spinning throwback tunes and afro beats from a platform while creators having dance offs in celebration.
Culver City Chambers Coffee & Donuts
The Culver City Chamber of Commerce has a mixer every third Thursday of the month in the morning. The mixers are held at different locations every month and creates awareness for the location amongst chamber members. This mixer was held at New Earth that offers youth programs and internships for the community. Headshots were taken of chamber members and breakfast refreshments were provided during the mixer.
Phatyaki's BTS of Music Video
San Fernando Valley musical group Phat Yaki released a new single called Jupiter. They shot a music video to support it and it took place at a beer distillery that has open space in the back where most of the video was shot. To give the video an out of this world feel, Phat Yaki enlisted a special effects make up artist to transform women actors into blue avatar like aliens. The video was also shot inside the distillery where the lead singer is serenading the aliens surrounded by chrome pipes and wispy smoke.
Realtist Gala
The Consolidated Board of Realtist had their annual 2023 Gala at their main office in Inglewood. The event consist of a red carpet area for guest and award recipients to take photos and the award ceremony. Before the ceremony commenced, guest had the opportunity to eat catered food and grab themselves a drink while socializing.
Robina Benson Design House
Robina Benson Design House hosted an event for celebrated artist Paola Lenti at their store on Melrose. Paola Lenti produces furniture, rugs and architectural structures for both interior and exterior environments using signature materials and colors. Guest had the chance to see her celebrated works in person and interact with her during the event over sparkling wine and classy appetizers.
Bored Ape
Bored Ape Yacht Club, often called Bored Apes, Bored Ape or BAYC, is a non-fungible token (NFT) collection built on the Ethereum blockchain. The collection features profile pictures of cartoon apes that are procedurally generated by an algorithm. They had a NFT event celebrating the launch of their product Ape Water along with the minting of a new NFT. CEO Fred Hsu and his friends were in attendance taking photos and eating great food.
Islands Burger's Holiday Party
Islands Fine Burgers & Drinks is a casual dining restaurant chain that specializes in burgers, fresh cut fries, and specialty drinks. Their tropical-themed restaurants are decorated to evoke the Hawaiian concept of "ohana". At the end of every year, mangers throw an end of the year staff party. Prizes are raffled off and appreciation cash awards are giving to well deserved staff members. A DJ with club lighting emitting from his booth in the back of space along with catered food awaits the staff on the bar counter. The manager with his microphone MCing the whole event controls each phase of the party with ease and pleasure.

Snap Chat Zoo Culture
Snapchat is an American multimedia instant messaging app and service. Brooke Berry, head of talent development, came up with the idea of SnapStars creating content in Zoo Culture, a popular gym in the valley. 1989 tacos were hired to provide the needed fuel for all SnapStars and shortly after the antics commenced. A live boxing sparring session took place between creators and even Brooke Berry with her signature pink hair got some sparring.

Culver City Chamber of Commerce Gala Installation
Every year the Culver City Chamber of Commerce has an end of the year Installation Gala to recognize members of their achievements during the course of the year. The 2023 Gala was held at the Hilton Hotel in Culver City in the evening. This year they had a small orchestra playing violins and amazing catered food from a chamber member. President Jesse Nunez told jokes and stories of each award recipient all night before they walked up the podium to receive their award. Award recipients with their family and friends all gather around took photos in front of the step and repeat with all smiles.
